While I'm not quite on the same glacial build schedule as Cappa's Juggy project, the progress on Murderous Overkill is pretty close. I dropped the Olds 455 off at Mondello Performance a few months back and it's going to be a monster. Until then I've been getting the frame and cage ready. Problem is that it's too tall to roll out of the garage on the 40s, so until I get a short set of 31s or a quartet of caster dollies to roll it around on I can't use my tubing bender. It bolts to my garage floor right where the passenger rear tire is.
I've built a front bumper and continue to peck away at small stuff like reinforcing the frame's rusted through areas, building a front bumper, skinning the grille, etc. Once I eat the $200 cost for the casters I'll be able to roll the truck out and bend some tubing to finish the rear of the cage. Then I can mount the fuel cell, spare tire, and finish up the rear of the truck. I'm hoping once the engine is back from the dyno and I'm able to swing the drivetrain in the progress will speed back up. Until the drivetrain is in I don't want to mount the brake system or build a new firewall because chances are I'll need to move stuff around to accommodate the big block, Ranger overdrive, SM465, and Stak Monster Box.
