So I lied...

I had some free time over the weekend so I went to work on the flattie frame that I said I had no time for.

It's kinda funny how I was so ready to toss my old frame to the scrap heap when in fact it's in better shape than many of the frames I have seen in basket case and even running flatties. There really isn't all that much that needs to be fixed, just a handful of cracks really. So I yanked it out of the garage and torched off all the old spring mounts and other welded-on bits that I didn't need. I also decided to use the Dana 27 front axle from Christian's Murderous Overkill project. It's about 60 inches wide and will just about match the 65-inch-wide Ford 9-inch that he gave me as well. Sooo I have an engine, axles, and most of the suspension. Oh and a beat down body. Anybody got a flattie tub in good shape close by?...Cheap? --John Cappa
