I know I know.. its not a Jeep... sue me
Like I said, its not a Jeep. Frankly, I'm out of driveway space for a Jeep and don't have acres of parking like Cappa and Hazel do. So I stick with working on my Daily Driver Prerunner. Yes, I do drive it everyday. Right now it is parked between somebodys long-term test vehicle and some delapadated pile of project vehicle that hasn't moved since I started working here.
The basics are that is has a Dixon Bros Racing long travel front end (same as FourWheeler's Project Rangerunner), long travel Deaver leaf springs in the rear dampened at both ends by Sway-A-Way shocks and Fox air bumps up front. I have 130,000 miles on the ticker and she makes the 50mile commute to our hedquarters in West LA everyday.
So why am I telling you all this? Well I'm doing work on it again and figured you needed to know what I was talking about when I post updates. So here it is.
PS.. its not all bad.. my trucks best friend happens to be an '89 XJ with a Full Traction long arm kit in the front with King 2.5" Dual Bypasses and Deaver springs in the rear.
