How did I exist without it?

Sirius Satellite Radio

I've been spoiled like a 10-year-old with his own credit card. Well, maybe not that bad...

Hi, I'm John. I've been a Satellite Radio junkie for over six months...That's how it feels. Like I'm some kind of addict. I hadn't realized how much I hated regular Los Angeles radio until the free one-year Sirius subscription unexpectedly went dead in the project JK. I had never planned to re-subscribe once it was up. That lasted about 2 weeks. Commercials, morning and afternoon talk-shows about nothing had me literally pulling my hair out during my 1-hour plus commute. And I missed the music you can't hear on regular radio. So I was ready to pay the $12.95 a month. It was worth it since I spend quite a bit of time in the JK. Here it is just over six months old and I've got over 11,000 miles on it. I likely spend most of my life in bed, behind the desk at work, or driving... in that order. Anyway, knowing my one free year wasn't actually up yet I managed to wrangle another free 9-months and learned how to find the Sirius satellite number on your Jeep. Simply turn the key to the on position, turn the radio off, and press and hold the CD Eject button and Time button simultaneously. This will cause the multi-digit Sirius number to appear on the screen. This is the number you need to have your sat radio activated. At least it works for the single CD player. Others may be different. I'm good for another 9-months, but when it's up I'll have to fork over some coin to keep my sanity and maintain my new fix.
