Secret CJ-2A flatfender project

So I decided to actually get started hanging the springs on my flattie.

Way-clever readers will spot a front spring from a CJ-6 and a pair of front springs from a Willys truck. There is one more CJ-6 spring hiding out elsewhere. Fortunately I've been stocking old used vintage parts to finish out the project. But I still had to order a few pieces from www.4wd.com to finish out the suspension. They are on the way. Stay tuned!

2. Good idea! So far I only have $200 into it. Everything else was a hand-me-down. Including the frame, front and rear axles, engine, steering system, gauges and more. Too bad most of it is still sitting in boxes. But I've got my wrenchin' (welding) face on as soon as parts arrive.

3. So does this mean I'm the official name creator for all Cappa projects now? I'm glad Jake and I could donate stuff that's getting used. Normally when I take parts off people's hands they sit in my RV parking for a year, then I take them to the scrapper.

4. Please don't take the old jeeps parts to any kind of scrap yard. Just let me know when you need more room and I'll bring my Cummins powered F350 and trailer to haul off your junk. The DJ is also included. Of course Pewe may beat me to the junk first.
