Best Air Show Ever

Team Oracle

I know, I'm running a little behind on this blog stuff. Anyway, last weekend I went to the Miramar Naval Air Show. If you ever get a chance to see Sean Tucker behind the stick of his Team Oracle plane-do it. The stuff he pulls off is incredible. Plus they often will hook up his mic to the loud speakers and he'll talk you through what he's about to do. Even when he hits 5-plus Gs you can hear him fighting it. Really cool stuff.

Of course the Thunderbirds were there too but I think the Blue Angles put on a better show. One of my other faves was the F-18 demo.  Just about any of the larger military Jets are impressive to watch. Unbelievable performance and power. I also checked out an M1A2 Abrams tank and my two favorite aircraft: an A-10 Warthog and an AH-1W Super Cobra helicopter. I guess I?m also a fan of the old WWII planes as well.
