Jpmagzine.com World Headquarters Threatened

So Cal Fires - Another Point of View

It seems that everybody here in the Jp Magazine / Source Interlink Media family has been affected in one way or another by the fires in So. Cal. and the Jpmagazine.com World Headquarters is no exception...

If you have seen any news lately or have read Cappa's blog you undoubtedly know about the huge disaster that has hit the Southern California region. The Irvine fire, or better known as the "Santiago Fire" is burning dangerously close to the Jpmagazine.com headquarters in Irvine California. This fire is approximately 2miles or less as the crow flies from our offices. Luckily for us however we are far enough from the foothills that we should be fine aside from the snow like ash filling our lungs.

In addition to Mr. Cappa living in Canyon Country a good friend of mine also happens to live just up the road from John. I was fortunate (or unfortunate depending on  how you look at it) enough to be with them when the fire started getting dangerously close to their home. I managed to snap some photos with my cell phone before getting out. Luckily, as with John, the fire burnt close to (though not as close as Cappa) their home but the brave men an women of the fire department stopped it before it got too close.

So please, keep us all in your thoughts and prayers as these fires are not getting any better and new ones keep poping up threatening more peoples lives and property every hour it seems.
