Stinger or No???

So I've been toying with the idea of cutting the stinger off my flattie....

In the end it's purely an academic question because Hazel's gonna do what Hazel wants to do, but here goes:

Stinger or no? I built it to protect the hood in case of a rollover, but it's got a full radiator crossmember that protects the spendy double pass Howe radiator, so the only thing that'll get damaged if I roll is the hood and grille. And even then, the radiator X-member won't let them get that smashed.

1. Don't cut the stinger... For the simple fact that it's the best hanger for your rolled up winch cable or tow strap in multiple winching situations.

2. I say cut it off. You don't need it and it looks out of place anyway since there are no supports. But you know as soon as you take it off, you'll find yourself on the roof. Bound to happen that way. Sorry.

6. Personally I like the stinger! To make it blend betting and be more functional, add support braces from them past the front grill into the wheel wells, then paint the rest of your rollcage to match it (black).

But you don't have to take my work for it. Actaully don't take my word for it. Listen to the other guys, cut it off. I would like to add, bring it to TDS (if you're going) and hand to to me for my TJ. I've been looking to build my own stinger front protection. I'll be looking for you!!! LOL

10. less is more cut it off. if you haven't used it yet do you really need it?I'm sure that rig has been all over moab allready what else are you gonna see? If your gonna flip forward just hit the gas and pull out of it. I think i saw that in your mag but i'm sure you don't read that stuff.
