TDS Night Run

There are two events that I look forward to every year. One is the TDS Jeep Safari held in Southern California the first weekend in March and the other is the Moab Easter Jeep Safari.

The two events are usually within a month or so of each other and this year they are only two weeks apart. And I am without a Jeep. Well, it's not that I don't have a Jeep, it's just that the only one I have that drives is a mostly stock one. Jp's '07 Wrangler Rubicon. It's not that I'm complaining, because it sure will be nice to have a heater when/if the snow starts falling in Moab this year. I'll be sure to laugh at Hazel and Trasborg who will be freezing their butts off in their built M715s. That is until I get stuck. In the past I've spent many cold Moab trips in my open top flatfender. The FSJs I've had over the years have spoiled me I suppose. And this year I won't even be towing my Jeep to the event! I'm driving it. It isn't the first time I’ve done this but it will likely be the most comfortable weenie Moab trip I’ve ever made. If you have trouble finding me, just look for a red Wrangler that looks like a rental.
