Crate Diesel Engine and JK Dana 60

So today Mopar is planning to announce some new products here in Moab, UT.

The company is clearly making a strong push in the off-road market. Along with the JK Rubicon axles, expect to see long arm lift kits, 4:1 transfer cases and more. Word is we will see a crate JK Dana 60 rear axle (based off of the J8 unit) and a crate diesel engine (the 2.8L CRD) available soon.

We'll also be getting a peek at a few Jeep ORT and Skunkwerks Underground vehicles including another Jeep truck based off the J8 and a diesel Dodge Power Wagon on 40s with very little lift and plenty of fender trimming!

2. I just read on the cover page of the last JP Magazine about how much fun the JK diesel was in both automatic and manual transmission... AEV playing ground let you guys drive a couple... Wheres mine? Why can't we get them here for the Land of the Free and the Brave, and the folks we don't want to have a Diesel jeep for.

"Wait for another story in a later issue for the resons why..." That is pretty cruel... Spill your guts, tell us who we need to write to , call or encourage to make this happen here in the USA. Tell us what you know... Thanks JP!
