Gretsch

It's been a while since I plugged in. I think I'll lay down my acoustic and wake the neighbors.

I've been playing guitar for almost 30 years now. My collection of guitars and equipment is far more impressive than my collection of Jeeps or guns.

Although it's the rarest bird in my arsenal, I really don't like playing the uber rare '67 Gretsch White Falcon. I used to drag it out on stage if we were covering an old Dick Dale song or doing old Stray Cats stuff, I mostly just leave it in the case. It's like playing an eggshell. I much prefer something like my Gibson Les Paul, Telecaster, or even my Ibanez flying V. Although my little Kramer Beretta is pretty fun to just plain beat on. And there's lots more. I play everything from Stevie Ray Vaughan type blues to (hell, I hate to admit it) Extreme and other guitar-slinger hard stuff, to Chili Peppersesque funk, to classical Flamencan to....you get the point. It sort of depends on my mood. And like my Jeeps, I have a guitar for every occasion.

Now don't get me started on my collection of specialty and vintage amps and effects. I don't have that much time.
