I don't know if you guys know... but in '84 the XJ came out and Jeep had an identity crisis.  What had been the Wagoneer for a couple of decades became the "Grand Wagoneer" and the Wagoneer name got stuck to an XJ with Wagoneer-esque grill.

Over the years I've both hated and loved this quad headlight grill.  Now, I'm just not so sure how I feel anymore.  I think the main reason I like it is because you hardly ever see it.  I think the main reason I hate it is because its the most hideous chud of a grill on an XJ.

What do you guys think?  (And I don't mean Cappa or Hazel, who hate anything that isn't solid metal and weighs under 150lbs.)
