Maybe it is a Southern California thing... I mean, back home, I didn't stop work at 5pm promptly on Friday just to have margaritas. But since coming out here, I've been invited to many a Margarita Friday. I must say its growing on me.
Most of the time, we'll meet at a restaurant. This time, since we all wanted to BS about the Rubicon trail, it was held at "Carter's Bar And Grill". Ok, so its a house. Belonging to Richard and Kristen Carter. But, how many houses do you know of that have a slushie machine with 2-gallons of margarita in it, 20 people who killed said margarita, and another 2-gallons made? Oh, did I mention the killer grill, and built in fridge?
It isn't everyone who will open their house to you, especially if you show up with a big honking camera and tell them you are shooting pictures for some random blog. Thanks to the Carters for putting up with the flash blinding (that's Richard grilling) and for the awesome margaritas. (I could get used to this SoCal tradition)
