Best electric mud winch ever?

New Fan-Cooled Warn Winch

Last week I had a chance to get a sneak peek at the new Warn Endurance 12.0 with a remote-mounted electric cooling fan. It's a 12,000-pound winch, but it's faster than most other 10,000-pound plus winches. And unlike all other electric winches it'll pull at consistent speeds nearly all day thanks to the fan-cooled motor. I think this winch may be a little much for most dry southwestern states but it seems to me the Endurance 12.0 would be ideal in the wet states where difficult muddy pulls are common.

The remote-mounted fan looks like an electric water pump and can be hidden away under the hood of your Jeep. There is an in and out hose that route to the winch motor. Cool air is circulated from the pump, through the winch motor, and then back to the engine compartment. And because the winch motor is fan-cooled, it's sealed better than other winch motors to keep out water and mud. I'll dig up the performance numbers if anyone is interested, but what impressed me most was how long it could pull without smoking a motor. No other electric winch even compares. The Warn Endurance 12.0 should be available in September.
