Yeah, sure, I'm a wuss. My new 30-06 rifle kicks my ass. And before I bought it I actually considered a .300 Winchester Magnum. Had I gone that route I surely would have had to leave my arm in the desert.

Anyway, the last time I took the 30-06 out I attempted to sight-in the scope and I was only able to pop off 10-15 rounds before my shoulder hurt. So in order to speed things up I ordered a Sight-Rite laser bore sight. It fits into the chamber just like a standard round of ammunition but it shoots a laser through the gun barrel giving me a point to adjust the scope to. It's a pretty awesome idea and versions are available for many different calibers. Oh, and I also ordered a thicker butt-pad to cushion my girlie shoulder from the blast.
