Hot Rod Jeep Suspension

Just after lunch today I was pretty much done with the rear suspension on my hot rod Jeep.

It's similar to the first time around and uses shorter '55-'75 CJ front leaf springs just like before but now it sits a little lower. This time I mounted the shackles in a tension mount under the frame and performed a C-notch for axle clearance. It might be nice to get it to sit a little lower but I will need to do some major cutting for that to happen. This is good for now. It's probably lowered around 6-8 inches from stock. Check it out.
