Tim Taylor

So I've got this friend who happens to have the same name as the main charecter on the TV show Home Improvement, Tim Taylor.  If that was the only similarity, this wouldn't be so funny.

Tim has a bunch of tools, a really nice "hot rod" (he's got an M715), does the laugh and everything.

It was just recently when I noticed that the company he works for is Chore-Time... which, of course, is sooo similar to the Tool Time show that the TV Tim Taylor is on.

Apparently I am the only one who's picked up on this most recent development.

And, oh, I did ask if his neighbor's name was "Wilson" too.

Toolman (as he's in my cell phone) has towed an M-37 down from Washington which I bought for my girlfriend one Christmas, and he towed my Jeepster down from Washington for the buddy I bought it from. 

Oh, and just to prove that I am not making this up, here's his license too.  I really do know the real-world Tim Taylor

1. lol......that's pretty cool. i used to make deliveries to this one place. the reciever looked like wilson, wore the floppy hat and always had a dust mask on

2. So when installing a gas can mount to the side of an '08 Grand Cherokee diesel do you use fast taps or drywall screws?...nice pic.

3. Heck if I know... I'm pretty sure he did grab a screw off the work bench, I dunno what it was though.

I can't BELIEVE you didn't crop that picture of me putting the jerry can holder on the GC. Don't they teach you things like cropping at Jeep-writing school?! Sheesh...

I just used 3/4" self-tappers to hold that jerry can holder on there. You know...gotta use what's on hand. Sort of a Jeeping trail mantra. That thing stayed on, didn't it? Sure hope Jeep Corp. doesn't get ticked for doing that....
