Well, I've been testing the '08 Grand Cherokee diesel for about 5 months now. I've got about 8000 miles on it, and I have used it for towing Jeeps all over. However, all this time I've been borrowing trailers. Well, using (maybe Cappa's?) rule of three, I finally got my own flat bed car hauling trailer. By the time I got the trailer backed into the driveway and all the crap unloaded it was way too dark to try and get this picture.
The rule of three states that if you borrow a tool or anything really 3 times to finish a job or do something you need to do, its high time you bought one of your own, since you obviously need one.
Well, after borrowing friend's trailers to haul my YJ on 40's and one of my MJs around, I bit the bullet. It is an Arizona trailer, which I bought used (for all of 3 days, 21 days ago) and has a 20 foot deck. Its a bit longer than I think I really need... but now if I end up with a long bed MJ or something I can still haul it.
Anyway, that's not the point of this blog. The point is that the same driveway in front of my house that can comfortably fit 5 SWB, Universal type Jeeps seems overwhelmed by a trailer and a M715. With less than a foot to the edge of the concrete on either side, and less than a foot between them, I'm packed in pretty good now. I need a bigger driveway.
The second image is an attempt to stitch together several other images so you guys can see just how packed the driveway seems. Hence the 2-foot wide tire on the passenger side of the Mtruck.
