All over and then back

Helter Skelter

In the last two weeks I've been all over So Cal.  From as far south as El Cajon to as far north as the Oceano Dunes, I've not know which way is up for a while now.

In N Out torture for a friend

I'm back home, doing such mundane things as laundry and paying bills and got to looking at my cell phone pictures from the last few weeks.  Why can't there be a dang cell phone that takes a picture?  Its often all I have on me, and its what gets used.

Anyway, here's some crappy cell phone pics in the same helter skelter fashion they were taken.

The first picture there in the intro is inside the new Stone Brewing brewpup... I'd not been there since it opened in the new location and its niiiiice.

The top image in the body here is an In N Out double double meal.  I had some friends out from Wisconsin, and they'd never had In N Out before... so I introduced them to it.  They liked it so much I waited until the day after they left and went again... and made sure to send a picture of it.

Filling Beers for New Year's

I had a little New Year's shindig, and I decided instead of toasting to champagne, we'd toast to a big beer... so here are some beers getting filled at the Stone gift shop.

715 torture for a friend

Remember those cheesehead friends?  Well not only did they like In N Out, but both wanted a ride in the 715... and we never quite found the time.  So, I took the 715 to In N Out and sent em a picture of that too, just to remind them, while in the 7 degree weather they were having in Wisconsin, that they voluntarily left So Cal for that.

Sunset over LA

All the way up to Pismo, all the way down to El Cajon, and the best sunset I saw was over LA from the 11th floor of the Wilshire building.  Maybe it was God getting me back for being a dick to the Wisconsin friends....

Hory Hot Chauce Batman!!!

This was seen in the Farmer's Market off Fairfax in LA.  I'd not previously made it this far in, and was astounded to see so many different hot sauces in one place.  Being a spicy food wimp, I was afraid, but managed to snap this pic of roughly 1/6th of the inventory in the hot sauce shop.
