We've all been there at some point: for one reason or another we don't have two pennies to rub together and have to get creative with what we eat on no budget. Mac and Cheese and SPAM are good... but I've stumbled across something better.
I got this pizza making kit for dummies for Christmas, and Missy and I tried it with mixed results. Then I went for it again today, using leftover's from the last week... some meatballs, fresh garlic that is sure to turn bad any second now, the sauce from the meatballs, and cheese that I don't even know how I got.
I simply applied some knowledge from 5 years working in a pizza place, ignored the confusing "for dummies" directions and I was on my way. Sure it took almost 2 hours start to finish, but I didn't have to spend anything on it, and it tastes way better than Ramen Noodles or Hot Dogs with no bun.
So, fast forward 2 hours and presto change-o and I got two pizzas from leftovers. Digiorno eat your heart out.
