I don't know if you remember the other two blogs about the wood and the beginning of the bar. Well, its now standing... like any Jeep, it will likely never be done, but it is standing and survived New Year's Eve
I'm going to put these links up here to bring you all up date. For those of us just joining the mess, and those of us with no long term memory, here ya go:

Now, having established the background, myself and a friend cranked this thing out in the 2 days immediately before New Year's. The bottle cap idea came indirectly from a bar in Key West, and the bar is build in panels so it can be torn apart and, if needed, reconfigured. There is no water in it, and heck, no underbar shelf either yet (I gotta work sometime). Also, there is plexi where eventually there will be 1/4-inch of resin covering the bottle caps.... but you get the idea.
Heck, it survived my rowdy friends coming over for New Years (reference intended).
