4 Junkyards, 1 Day

Burnt out

Today I went hunting for a 14-bolt to swap into my 715.  I didn't bring an axle home.

From what I have been able to figure out from online forums I need a van 14-bolt to even get me in the ballpark of the WMS to WMS I need.  However, after combing 4 junkyards, the only way I think I can get where I need to be is to pull a cab and chassis axle and put SRW hubs on it.

I never did manage to find a van axle that was different than a SRW truck axle... but it wasn't from lack of looking.

Old Goodyear

What I did find was this odd Goodyear tire.  I've been playing Jeep for a long time, but don't remember this Goodyear.  I looked for a date stamping or something, but didn't see one.  Is this a 3-generation old Goodyear Mud tire?
