Owning multiple vehicles

My Junk Part 1

People are often surprised by the number of vehicles I own. Now, I use the term "vehicles" loosely because I suppose for them to be considered actual vehicles they would be required to transport me and or other people under their own power right? I agree on the principle here, however this logic would condemn half my fleet to something other than vehicles. So I'd rather not accept this line of thinking, and the reality is my job kinda gives me some justification for owning what others would likely consider complete piles of non-running crap. Ant to be honest, my fleet is small compared to the other Jp staffers. No matter, here is what I drive and what I have been working on.

This is my buggy/Jeep. Around work we call it Juggy. I've been wrenching and procrastinating on this one for I think over 5 years now. It has a 400-hp Corvette engine so it will pretty much haul ass when I'm done, but it really won't be street legal. It's more of a desert toy. So why is it taking so long? That's mostly my fault but pretty much everything on this one has to be hand-built. The only real Jeep parts on it are the grille, hood, and gas pedal. Needless to say I can't just go to the parts store and say "Hey, I need a blah blah for my one-off Jeep that I'm building." They, ain't gonna have it. So in order to custom build stuff I kinda have to be in the mood, otherwise it turns out like crap and I end up having to redo the work I've done. Like the steering column for example. It took me three tries before I was happy with it. Each time I had to cut out all the old stuff and start over. Funny thing is, when I started building Juggy, it was state of the art. Today it's kind of retro. And I still haven't driven, or even started it for that matter.
