When it rains, it pours I guess. I got the Jeepster running, so took it into town to register and get cleaned. I figure 20 or 30 bucks to have the guys at the carwash clean, vacuum, wax, etc can sometimes be a good deal.
After sitting for so long it was filthy inside and out, so away I went.
I don't know what it is about this Jeepster, but it draws people like my 715 and my YJ on 40s *** So, I get there, and the guy goes to me "I guess you want to drive it through, right?" I said sure.
Its an automated carwash where the rollers hit the back of the wheel and push you through. The guy tells me no brakes, no steering, etc... I've been through one or two carwashes and already knew this. Not a problem
All was going well until about halfway through when the Jeepster skips the roller. I hadn't been briefed on what to do, I figured there was another roller coming along so no big deal. There I am sitting under the rag-wheel that cleans the thing, waiting for another roller, trying to avoid the water spray through the gap in the door when I feel another bump... I check the steering wheel and its straight, I sure haven't hit the brakes, yet that roller goes underneath.

So there I am sitting, wondering if another car is coming, if there is a safety shutoff in these things for such events, just chilling out. Another bump, but this time I start moving. I get out of the rollers and look in the rearview to see a car really really close to me, I think nothing of it as I'd skipped a couple rollers.
I get out the far side, and go park. Well, it turns out that I was hit by an Acura while waiting for the next roller. No damage to the Jeepster's trailer hitch, but the Acura had some damage.
So, after watching the car wash guy cleaning the Jeepster for 10-15 min, the manager and the guy from the Acura, ask me if I saw what happened, and then the manager accuses me of hitting the brakes. I tell em its not my first time, I wasn't on the brakes, didn't crank the wheel, didn't put it in gear, nothing. They go off and leave me alone... the manager gives me the evil eye for a while longer, and that seemed to be that.
About an hour later, they pronounce the Jeepster clean, I leave.
Hopefully that's the last I hear about that for, like, ever!
