40-inch tires and no lift!

We managed to get our hands on a top-secret image! This is a rendering of the concept Jeep Wrangler Rubicon called Lower Forty which is being built by the Mopar Underground crew. It’s a stock-height (no lift) two-door JK, but thanks to copious amounts of fender trimming and wheelwell modifications it fits 40-inch tires!

2. Wish Chrysler..and back to AMC had thought about building more wheel-well space into their Jeeps without the need to hack everything up and change the stock suspension geometry.

Better axles would have been nice too.

BTW..Chrysler needs to get in touch with the real world..REAL FAST.

At first glance of page 12 of the June '09 paper issue, I thought to my self,"Could this be another attempt at the AMC Eagle SX-4, using today's technology, and a cool bonus of 40 inch tires, without lift, straight from the factory?" I am excited to see how this fares in yet another Jeep venture. There are other AMC Eagle fans that I'm sure would be interested in this concept as well, as it seems very reminiscent to an older idea. Long Live the Eagle concept, I love it!!
