I'm not crazy

Run Over By a Prius

I vividly remember the day I was almost run down by a Prius.  Some things just burn themselves into your mind's eye.

I was at a dealership, and the salesman was excited about how quiet the new Prius was.  I was standing in front of it, and he "fired" it up and gave it some "gas".  It "shot" forward, and came within a foot of hitting me.  Me being partially deaf didn't hear it coming, and really, its a Prius, not like it had a Flowmaster on it.

Point is, I was surprised to say the least... and the image of that car is burned into my memory.

Fast forward x number of years, and the brainless lemmings buying the Prius citing buzzwords like "green" "environmental impact" and "environmental responsibility" pisses me off.  If these people had half a brain in their head, and didn't just follow the other 'tards, they'd see what lemmings they really are.

They put us down because of our big gas guzzling Jeeps... but you know what?  We'll run a Jeep until we can't.  We get a used (recycled) vehicle, put in and modify it with fuel injection or newer motors, which by nature, run cleaner, and then we drive the thing till its gone.  No leasing crap, no trade it in on a new one in 3 years.  I don't know about you, but keeping a vehicle on the road for 10,20,30, 60 years seems a lot cleaner in the long run than burning all those resources to build a new one every 3 years.  OH, and don't get me started on the batteries...

But I digress.  The point is, all those years ago, I was almost run over.  And I remember that car.  Now, when I tell people I almost got hit by a Prius, they commiserate.  But, when I tell them it wasn't the same Prius we all know and hate today, I am always told there was only one Prius.  I know, cause its burned into my mind's eye, that there was a different one.  Well, for years now I've been branded as nuts cause of this belief of mine.  Today, leaving the office, I saw the proof.

The killer Prius
It is a Prius
