But it gets way better than that. I brought my truck in for some recall and warranty work. I had a check engine light on and a bunch of stuff was already falling apart on my 28K-mile Ram 2500. In addition to replacing the EGR, drilling and tapping the Turbo for a fitting so they can spray cleaner in it, replacing the weatherstripping on the door, fixing rattles & squeaks, investigating and intermittent no-start problem, checking why the turbo cuts out intermittently, and so on, they discovered one of my rear hubs was bent. So, I've been semi-patiently waiting for them to finish it up and tell me I can get to Moab with it. The funny part is that if it's not ready by tomorrow I'll have to drive the $500 WHY-J to Moab so I don't miss some important meetings with the Chrysler Jeep suits and engineers. You gotta love the irony - "sorry I missed the Chrysler meeting guys, but my Chrysler product was in the shop and couldn't get me here." Not looking forward to hundreds of miles of steep mountain roads in 2nd gear and the hum of Swamper LTBs for over 12-hours, but it's sort of looking like that's what I'm in for this weekend.
