Road Test Extravaganza

50,000 Mile JK

The Jp project JK just rolled over 50,000 miles on the odometer so we decided to take it on a road trip to really wring it out through the mountains and summer heat.

Overall, it's been a pretty good daily-driven Jeep. The Superlift 4-inch lift kit and 35-inch BFG KM2s on AEV Pintler beadlocks roll smooth (for mud tires) on the highway and provide great traction in most off-road terrain. Keep an eye out in the pages of Jp for a full writeup of what we've broke, what we had to replace, and how the JK is holding up to a lift, big tires, and abuse.
