This has been home for me for more than 10 years and even longer for Jp Magazine. The construction crew has already started work out front. They busted up much of the brickwork, cut down the trees, and tore out the vegetation with a pair of skid steers and a dump truck. I grabbed this shot of the workers busy pulling down the old Petersen sign. As much as I hate how everything in and around the building was brown (including the monster 3-inch cockroaches), I'm gonna miss it and my 11th floor corner office with an awesome view of the city and even the ocean on a rare clear day in LA.
