Vortec Hustlin'

Today I started making good on my promise to add at least 100hp to the GMPP 290hp 350 in my M-715.

These Vortec heads are a big part of the equation, but what are those yellow things? They don't come with the regular Vortec replacement heads, do they?

Nope. Now that I got the LS1 beehive springs installed I'm ready to flog the heads with the merciless lift rates offered in Lunati's Voodoo camshaft lineup.

I'll be heading to Westech Performance early next month to see what some better lungs, a better intake, and a waaay better camshaft will do for my little crate engine. Tune in to the November '09 issue of Jp to see the results.
