Jeep-like at least

Over the weekend I went to the Miramar Air Show in San Diego, California. I spotted this kinda cool jeep-like rig on display.

New military Jeep

Apparently it's used by special forces to meander around on and infiltrate curvy goat trails. It's four-wheel-drive, runs on adjustasble independant airbag suspension (front and rear), has front and rear steering, and was powered by a small diesel engine. Not all that different in size or function when compared to an early MB or GPW. And very similar to the four-wheel-steering Ford GP you can see photos of and read about HERE. Funny how over 65 years later we've gone full circle back to a capable maneuverable Jeep-like military vehicle...only this one costs $120,000.
