Generation Gap

Yeah, yeah, so F-body GM cars might not have much place on a Jeep site, unless they are donating drivetrains. But, I got an email today about a "sweet" 2nd Gen Camaro a friend just picked up and I was busting on them about how it was a shame it wasn't a Firebird.

Granted, if any of these cars was given to me, I'd not throw it out of my driveway. The first four generations of F-body cars had me flip-flopping between Chevy and Pontiac.

And, of course, there is no more Pontiac, but both Lingenfelter and Phoenix are rumored to be offering conversions for the 5th Gen F-body cars, and for the first time ever its not an easy choice which one I like better.

By combining elements of the first gen Camaro I like on the Chevy side and the second Gen Firebird I like on the "Pontiac" side, I'm torn.
