These guys must be smoking medical marijuana - or something lots stronger. Check this ad for a roached $1,200 Wagoneer.

It reads:
"1987 Jeep Grand Wagoneer. 187,xxx miles. V8 engine.

Didn't pass smog, brand new BFGoodwrench All terrain tires.

Engine overheats sometimes and 3 window regulators broken and won't don't roll up. The headliner is also torn out.

Good body, minimal rust.. great for a project or parts, for information if interested email. $1200 OBO. Must get rid of this car, tired of moving it for street cleaning twice a week. Make me an offer"

Maybe I'm kooky, but to me that spell a $400 parts car.

4. Roach. Sure there is only a little rust which makes it valuable in other states. But our equivalent to rust in California is not passing the smog test. That opens up a whole new can of worms for a vehicle here.

5. Your right about the smog test. In Ontario Canada, you don't need a test if it's more then twenty years old.
I agree, for you, little or no rust does't mean anything if you can't drive it.

10. I'm swamped with story deadline stuff 'till Thursday at the earliest, but as soon as I'm able I'm gonna go check out an abandoned flattie I just got offered. These FSJ and ZJ guys are just on crack. Maybe because it's winter-time and they think they make good ski-resort shuttles? I dunno. Not feelin' the mid/full-size love now, though.
