Next weekend is the Tierra Del Sol's Desert Safari event. It'll be the 13th or 14th consecutive time I've hit the event. So to commemorate years past, and get ready for this years, here's a photo from '06.

 Pewe made the trek from the LA area in his big 'ol Apollo motorhome. I can't remember if it was Saturday or Sunday morning, but we all awoke to his cool little CJ-2A flattie draped with what was probably every towel in a 1-mile radius.

Seems the plumbing in the Apollo took a dump (pun intended) and he used the towels to sop up the water. The flattie served as a drying rack. I can only hope the Apollo treats Rick better this year. Well, that and I hope the water he had to sop up came out of the grey water tank - not the other one!
