Garage Sharing

Yesterday I finally unloaded my CJ-6 off my trailer into my garage. Then I realized the last time my flattie shared garage space with a CJ-6 was back in 2004.

I used to park my '71 CJ-6 "Project Hatari!" next to my flattie in the garage when it rained. Otherwise it normally slept outside.

The new '63 CJ-6 is now residing next to the flattie on a set of Harbor Freight 2,000lb-capacity wheel dollies until the buildup can commence. It'll still be a month or so 'till I can dig into it, but the first step is going to be yanking the body off the frame and then fully plating the framerails. I've got some other tricks up my sleeve I'll show you once the project starts.

This one will probably get a big block and a TH400 or manual transmission and 1-ton axles. I'll know for sure once I start scrounging junkyard parts.

By the way, anybody want a stock '07.5 Dodge Megacab fuel tank?
