Rig Selection Time

Fall is casting a nip in the air. For most that means thoughts of Halloween costumes and apple picking, but for me it means deciding which rig to start prepping for Moab Easter Jeep Safari!

I've been rolling around whether to bring my Cherokee Chief, my YJ on 31s, or do a quickie buildup on the CJ-6. In reality, the only thing "quickie" about it would be the timeframe. It's just a roller, with a rotted body, worn axles, and not much of anything else. I'd have to pull the body off, prep the frame, build steering and brakes, build a new T-case for it, move the drivetrain rearward about 4 inches (the Vortec V-6 is in the wrong place), radiator, seats, cage, axles, wiring and so on.

The smart move would be bring the Cherokee Chief.....which is why I'll probably build the '6.
