Use as a truck

Every once in a great while I get to use the MJ as a truck. Most of the time I end up places with parts to pick up in anything but a truck. But every once in a while the MJ gets to be a productive member of the fleet and actually haul something.

Usually I am just using it as a commuter or parts test-bed and it is a glorified Honda basically.

Or, I'm taking it off-road and it is a truck in a Jeep's world.

Or, I'm down the beach with Missy and parking the truck in with Maserati's and Ferrari's.

But every once in a great while it gets used for what the designers thought it should be used for.

Any of you do the same?

1. One thing for sure........ the MJ looks good hauling stuff, wheeling through the snow, or down at the beach. You;re lucky to have one.

2. Happiness is parking my muddy MJ fresh from a run next to a upper class car to help improve its looks! ( I mean the car of coarse)

3. My ZJ gets used as a truck sometimes. Then there is times when I need a truck to do some heavy duty hauling, like hauling away landscape debris or junk. Then there is times when I wish I had a trailer to pull behind my ZJ to haul that stuff. I may have to put my welding skills to work and build a trailer for my ZJ.

4. My Tj pulls truck duty all the time. Just hauled 630 lbs of stainless scrap today. It still means genereal purpose to me.

5. one thing about this jeep that i Lerner it is the best truck that i drive the first one my '88 kept me alive after my wreck the other guy spun me around and I landed in a ditch the other guy and I walk away unharmed. jeep frame and drive train took a heavy hit. My second jeep '89 2.5 4speed. work hard,never stalls,and always starts(even if I forgot to turn my lights off in the cold winter months.) hauls the half-ton load of stone up a vary steep hill with no trouble (the bigger dump truck had a hard time). In my opinion this little beast need to remake this jeep is the true meaning of jeep truck small,nimble,and able to prove it self in any situation with out hurting you at the gas pump.(Sorry Chrysler and/or jeep I am not satisfied with the brute give me The Gladiator.)
