It's been almost a year and a half since I had to sell one of my favorite Jeeps of all time to put a new roof on my house. Thankfully, Project JR's new owner has been enjoying the Jeep every bit as much as I did.
It was with some trepidation that I handed over the pink slip to the new owner, but happily he's a fellow family man and has been using the Jeep hard and often. I gotta say, I'm overjoyed that he and his family are out having fun and creating lasting memories in this vehicle. Too often, the rigs I let go wind up getting chopped and parted for the sum of their parts. It's nice to see one staying alive and getting used for its intended purpose for a change.
