Busted Parts!

Fried pulley

Yeah, so far as busted parts go, it is lame. But, it is still busted parts, and I busted em while I was dragging a CJ-5 around with my MJ... so there are some mitigating factors.

missing something?

I had swapped-in a junkyard A/C compressor because my compressor keeled over and died. Right after swapping in the boneyard part, I started hearing this noise in the front end accessories when the A/C was on. So, naturally, I figured it was the junkyard compressor. However, I'd already charged the system, and it was blowing cold, so I figured I'd just run it. Well on one of my many miles on the road with the truck, near my buddy's place, the idler pulley's bearing keeled over, died, and then fried the belt.

So of course, I get to buy a new belt so I can drive the truck home and put on the '99-and-up intake setup, complete with new and different-sized belt (which I already had).
